Abstract

The labour organisation is very often at the heart of the issues/concerns of producers in short food supply chains, so demanding and diversified is their activity. The TRAC project (Trajectory and development path of the labour organisation for farms involved in short food supply chains) is based on an analysis of the trajectories of farms in market gardening and livestock sectors (milk and meat), the identification of forms of labour organisation at production, processing and marketing levels, producers' strategic questions and the levers used to answer them. It proposes a support method to better consider the work dimension in the strategic thinking of farmers in the process of creating or reorienting their short food supply chains activity.
