Key task for every library lies in its ability to quickly and effectively address the world changes and challenges providing necessary support to audiences in order to enter new realty. This task cannot be achieved without steady CPD system embracing all industry specialists. Formal education is unable to follow the rapid changes so the libraries own educational products take the place. The author presents CPD programs produced by the flagman library of St. Petersburg – V. Mayakovsky Central City Public Library - especially for the CIS library specialists.
