Children’s libraries all over the world make a common cause – instilling a love of books and reading to children and teenagers, so it’s always interesting to find out with what your colleagues had to come up with! This article is a brief introduction to the performance of Rostov Regional Children’s Library named after V.M. Velichkina, which is the methodological center of its region for working with the children’s population. Also, this article provides an insight on the experience of promoting books and reading among the younger generation on the basis of the Rostov Regional Children’s Library named after V.M. Velichkina and other children’s libraries in the region.
