Abstract

From a sample of 232\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10⁶ \mathit\ensuremathΥ(4S)\ensuremath→BB events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B Factory in 1999--2004, we measure the B^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→D⁰K^*\ensuremath-(892) decay branching fraction using events where the K^*\ensuremath- is reconstructed in the K_S⁰\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- mode and the D⁰ in the K^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ⁺, K^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ⁺\ensuremathπ⁰, and K^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ⁺\ensuremathπ⁺\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- channels: B(B^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→D⁰K^*\ensuremath-(892))=(5.29\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.30(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.34(syst))\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-4.
