We report evidence for the exclusive two-body charmless hadronic B meson decay B\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathπ, and improved measurements of B\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'K. The results are obtained from a data sample of 386\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi106 BB pairs collected at the \ensuremathΥ(4S) resonance, with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e^\ensuremath- collider. We measure B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathπ+)=[1.76_\ensuremath-0.62+0.67(stat)_\ensuremath-0.14+0.15(syst)]\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-6 and B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathπ0)=\phantom\rule0ex0ex[2.79_\ensuremath-0.96+1.02(stat)_\ensuremath-0.34+0.25(syst)]\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-6. We also find the ratio of \fracB(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'K+)B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'K0)=1.17\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.08(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.03(syst) and measure the direct CP asymmetries for the charged modes.
