Abstract

We present measurements of branching fractions and charge asymmetries for six B-meson decay modes with an \ensuremathη or \ensuremathη^\ensuremath' meson in the final state. The data sample corresponds to 232\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi106 BB pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e^\ensuremath- B Factory at SLAC. We measure the branching fractions (in units of 10^\ensuremath-6): B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathπ+)=5.1\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.6\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.3, B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathηK+)=3.3\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.6\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.3, B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathηK0)=1.5\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.7\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.1 (<2.5 at 90% C.L.), B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathρ+)=8.4\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi1.9\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi1.1, B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathω)=1.0\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.5\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.2 (<1.9 at 90% C.L.), and B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathπ+)=4.0\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.8\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.4, where the first uncertainty is statistical and second systematic. For the charged modes we also determine the charge asymmetries, all found to be compatible with zero.
