This work proposes a candidate law of structural fragilization under compression within the framework of the Complexity Response Tightness Index (CRTI). It addresses a central limitation of classical Early Warning Signals (EWS): their focus on amplitude-based indicators such as variance and autocorrelation, while largely neglecting the structural geometry of multivariate systems. The core hypothesis is that system fragility emerges not primarily from increasing perturbations, but from a progressive loss of effective degrees of freedom. This loss is operationalized through the effective rank Φ, derived from the spectral entropy of a rolling covariance matrix, capturing the distribution of variance across system modes. The proposed composite indicator,T(t) = R(t) / Φ(t),combines structural compression (Φ) with recovery dynamics (R), providing a geometry-sensitive early warning signal under the condition of Structural–Dynamic Separability (SDS). The formulation is intentionally conservative and domain-restricted. It applies to multivariate, continuous-state systems approaching fold (saddle-node) bifurcation–type transitions under approximately isotropic stochastic forcing. Within this domain, structural compression is hypothesized to precede dominant amplitude effects, offering extended lead times compared to classical univariate indicators. This work is not presented as a finalized law, but as a candidate organizing principle for system stability in complex adaptive systems. It provides explicit assumptions, testable predictions, and limitations, and aims to contribute to a broader integration of geometry-based observables into early warning theory. 🔑 Keywords (English) CRTI, structural fragilization, structural compression, effective rank, spectral entropy, early warning signals, critical transitions, fold bifurcation, multivariate systems, system stability, resilience, complex systems, covariance structure, critical slowing down, system collapse, complexity science 📄 Beschreibung (Deutsch) Diese Arbeit formuliert ein Kandidaten-Gesetz der strukturellen Fragilisierung unter Kompression im Rahmen des Complexity Response Tightness Index (CRTI). 🔑 Keywords (Deutsch) CRTI, strukturelle Fragilisierung, strukturelle Kompression, effektiver Rang, spektrale Entropie, Frühwarnsignale, kritische Übergänge, Faltbifurkation, multivariate Systeme, Systemstabilität, Resilienz, komplexe Systeme, Kovarianzstruktur, kritische Verlangsamung, Systemkollaps, Komplexitätsforschung
