This article outlines the stages of automation of the Scientific Medical Library of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It provides a comprehensive overview of the automation of the State Scientific Medical Library after independence, the conditions and opportunities created for users, projects, and the library’s electronic databases. The achievements of the State Scientific Medical Library over the past two to three years deserve special attention. The article also discusses remote user services through electronic resources, the update of the library’s official website and its new features, automated services, and the conveniences created for users of the database, including medical professionals.
