Cet article s’intéresse à la présence exponentielle du corps dans le tissu de certains textes dramatiques contemporains qui sont irrigués par des problématiques mémorielles à la croisée de l’intime et du collectif. Il part de l’hypothèse qu’un régime dramaturgique propre pourrait permettre de réfléchir aux modalités esthétiques et aux enjeux de ces textes : le drame figuratif. Inspiré de modèles picturaux qui ont revisité la représentation de l’humain au 21<sup>e</sup> siècle, notamment sous l’impulsion de la rencontre avec des esthétiques extra-européennes, les écritures du drame figuratif relèvent d’un paradigme animiste qui préoccupe une société contemporaine occidentale marquée par le rationalisme et s’étant éloignée d’un certain rapport à la mémoire des morts. <strong>Abstract</strong> This article examines the exponential presence of the body in the fabric of certain contemporary dramatic texts, which are permeated by issues of memory at the intersection of the personal and the collective. It posits that a specific dramaturgical approach could allow for reflection on the aesthetic modalities and stakes of these texts: figurative drama. Inspired by pictorial models that have revisited the representation of the human in the 21st century, particularly through the influence of non-European aesthetics, the writing of figurative drama stems from an animistic paradigm that preoccupies a contemporary Western society marked by rationalism and having distanced itself from a certain relationship to the memory of the dead.
