The study looked at how physical fitness test results relate to students’ performance in the firearms usage course at the Police and Border Guard College of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. The study’s goal was to find correlations that could help select better candidates for police work and improve training efficiency. The data was collected from students who enrolled in 2020 and 2021, focusing on the connections between fitness, coordination and shooting performance (as graded).
