Abstract

Fibromyalgia is a syndrome of chronic pain. It is characterized by generalized musculoskeletal pain along with other systemic symptoms. Naltrexone is an opioid antagonist and is indicated for use in chronic pain conditions. There is little evidence of the safety and efficacy of naltrexone in fibromyalgia. So, our systematic review and meta-analysis will compare all the randomized control trials of the use of naltrexone in fibromyalgia to provide a piece of evidence about the efficacy of this treatment.
