The goal of the study is to grasp how communication about menstruation (positive versus negative) influences people with different types of experiences (lower/higher in primary dysmennorhea and either experiencing secondary dysmenorrhea or not) regarding their menstruation. We measure the effect of framing on their attitude towards their menstruation and their attitude and intention to talk about menstruation, as well as their perceived sense of taboo and stigma. We do this to ultimately gain insight into how to break the menstruation taboo.
