We fix any bicategory \mathscrA together with a class of morphisms W_\mathscrA, such that there is a bicategory of fractions \mathscrA[W_\mathscrA-1]. Given another such pair (\mathscrB,W_\mathscrB) and any pseudofunctor F:\mathscrA→\mathscrB, we find necessary and sufficient conditions in order to have an induced pseudofunctor G:\mathscrA[W_\mathscrA-1]→ \mathscrB[W_\mathscrB-1]. Moreover, we give a simple description of G in the case when the class W_\mathscrB is "right saturated".
