Abstract

Experimental observation confirms the in-phase and out-of-phase eigenmodes description of the temperature dependence in the oscillations of an excited Bose-Einstein condensate, where a truly isotropic confining potential helps to observe the collapse and revival of the monopole mode of the finite-temperature gas.
