The precipi- tate was collected by centrifugation and suspended in 7.5 ml. of deionized water. The suspension was adjusted to pH 4.7 with 0.1 N potassium hy- droxide and then centrifuged. The supernatant fluid was dialyzed for 4 hours with stirring against deionized water. The recovery of Fraction PS-2B activity was 34 per cent (8.4 mg. of protein, specific activity 96).
