The banner rulers of the Tusheet Jasag Banner of the Khalkha Tusheet Khan Aimag used the official seal of “The Northern Banner of the Left Hand of the Khan Uul League of Khalkha Northern Route” in succession since 1693. The eleventh son of Batmunkh Dayan Khan, who was of Chinggisid lineage, was Gersenje Jalair Khun Taiji. His third son was Noonokh Uizeng noyan, whose second son was Abukhu Mergen noyan, whose second son was Rakhuli Dalai noyan, whose third son was Sangarjaa Dalai Daichin, whose first son was Norow Erkh Akhai. Furthermore, his first son Lidar was granted “imperial grace” and received the seal of the Banner Lord. Archival documents of biographies and political activities of the ten banner rulers from 1693 to 1923 are kept in the fonds of Qing period of the National Archive of History of Mongolia. This work is a result of analysis and comparisons of archival documents. Also, using historical documents as the Succession Reports of Mongolian Banner Rulers, the Book of Lineages and Military Merits of the Banner Rulers and Noblemen, and their private letters, the Laws and regulations of the Court of Dependencies, this project aims to compile, compare and analyze the information regarding the political activities, achievements, faults and failure of the banner rulers.
