This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Literary Committee of Mongolia. In May 1938, a ten-point document named “Act letter” was issued to review and invalid certain works translated from foreign languages, written and published by researchers of the Mongolian Committee of Sciences. This document is currently stored in the National Central Archives of Mongolia, (Х.23, д.1, хн.449, т.14-19). This list of documents includes the two volumes of “Golden History” [Altan tobči] (1937), the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th,and 8th volumes of the “Articles on the Improvement of Mongolian Language Policy” magazine (1934-1935), “New Mirror” [Shine toli] magazine No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (1935-1937), “Book on the Origin of the Darkhad, Uriankhai of Khuvsgul Lake, Dцrved, Khoton, Bayad, Цgeled, Mingad, Zakhchin, Torguud, Khosuud, Tsakhar, Dariganga, Uriankhai of Altai, Khasag, and Khamnigan” (1934) by J.Tseveen, “Materials Used to Represent the Period of Conquest of Mongolia from Manchuria” (1936) by B.Buyanchuulgan, “Theme to Remind Herder” (1936) by B.Dorj, “Record of Printed Matter from the Eleventh Year of Mongolia Until Now” (1936) by Ya.Tsevel, “Dictionary of Mongolian Orphography” (1937) by B.Shagj, “Bibliography of Mongolian Books and Manuscripts in the Asian Section of the Mongolian State Library” (1937) by Ya.Tsevel. It should be noted that those books and magazines such as are now among the rare works.
