Abstract

We report a study of the processes e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathγ and e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathγ at a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV, using a 232 fb^\ensuremath-1 data sample collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider at SLAC. We observe 20_\ensuremath-5+6\ensuremathη\ensuremathγ and 50_\ensuremath-7+8\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathγ events over small backgrounds, and measure the cross sections \ensuremathσ(e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathγ)=4.5_\ensuremath-1.1+1.2\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.3 fb and \ensuremathσ(e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathγ)=5.4\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.8\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.3 fb. The corresponding transition form factors at q2=112 GeV2 are q2|F_\ensuremathη(q2)|=0.229\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.030\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.008 GeV, and q2|F_\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'(q2)|=0.251\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.019\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.008 GeV, respectively.
