A search for the decays B\ensuremath→\ensuremathρ(770)\ensuremathγ and B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathω(782)\ensuremathγ is performed on a sample of 211\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi106 \ensuremathΥ(4S)\ensuremath→BB events collected by the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e^\ensuremath- storage ring. No evidence for the decays is seen. We set the following limits on the individual branching fractions: B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathρ+\ensuremathγ)<1.8\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-6, B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathρ0\ensuremathγ)<0.4\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-6, and B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathω\ensuremathγ)<1.0\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-6 at the 90% confidence level. We use the quark model to limit the combined branching fraction B[B\ensuremath→(\ensuremathρ/\ensuremathω)\ensuremathγ]<1.2\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-6, from which we determine a constraint on the ratio of Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements |Vtd|/|Vts|.
