We herein report a Pd-catalyzed difluorocarbene transfer reaction that enables the efficient synthesis of carbonylative oxindole derivatives in good to excellent yields. In this transformation, commercially available BrCF 2 COOK functions as practical difluorocarbene precursor and a safe, user-friendly carbonyl source.
