Abstract A phytochemical investigation of the resin of Toxicodendron vernicifluum resulted in the isolation of two new sesquiterpenoids, toxicodenanes D ( 1 ), endowed with a new carbon skeleton, and E ( 2 ), along with six known sesquiterpenoids ( Fig. 1 ). Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR and mass spectrometry.
