Las reflexiones contemporáneas bajo el nombre de teología del cuerpo se ha concretizado como reflejo de la suma de preocupaciones antropológicas con las cuestiones emergentes del campo de la moral. De este modo, sabiendo de la relación histórica de conflict de la teología con la corporeidad, sobre todo en nombre de la ortodoxia y del poder ligado a las formas de represión, importan, cada vez más, las alternativas que a partir de la carne elaboran los elementos de novedad propios de su necesaria renovación. En este sentido, a través de la metodología cualitativa de revisión bibliográfica narrativa, el objetivo del presente artículo es el de pensar el lugar del cuidado – como paradigma – en la teología del cuerpo. Para ello, el itinerario busca sostener que el ser humano como ser contingente es susceptible de cuidade; y por ser responsable/colectivo, agente cuidador. Al sustentar tales ideas, fueron centrales las nociones de finitud, vulnerabilidad, responsabilidad y los elementos de diálogo con la bioética orientados hacia la biofilia, es decir, del amor y de la sensibilidad para con todas las formas de vida, precisamente allí donde el cuerpo es incluido y considerado territorio y mediación de experiencias. Contemporary studies on the subfield of theology of the body have emerged as an account that combines anthropological concerns and emerging questions in the field of morality. Considering the historical conflict between theology and perspectives on corporeality, especially in the name of orthodoxy and the power tied to forms of repression, alternative perspectives that, based on the flesh, develop the elements of novelty inherent to its necessary renewal are increasingly important. In this sense, through a qualitative methodology of narrative bibliographic review, the objective of this article is to consider the place of care—as a paradigm—in the theology of the body. The paper argues that the human being, as a contingent being, is susceptible to care and, because they are a responsible/collective being, a caring agent as well. To sustain this argument, the notions of finitude, vulnerability, responsibility, and the dialogue with bioethics toward biophilia —that is, love and sensitivity toward all forms of life—were central in a context where the body is included and considered a territory and mediation of experiences.
