Abstract

Behind the Science Interview: Aniello Palma, University College Dublin, Ireland, discusses a recent study published by his group and collaborators in Angewandte Chemie. The team has developed the first cyclo‑polyproline macrocycle capable of induced‑fit host–guest recognition and says we are at the dawn of a new class of peptide‑based macrocycles with potential applications in catalysis, chemical separation, and drug delivery.
