Abstract

Al 2 Et 3 Cl 3 /trace water initiation system was constructed to achieve the cationic random copolymerization of isobutylene (IB) with bio-renewable β-pinene (Bp) towards the synthesis of novel high-molecular weight polyisobutylene (PIB)-based elastomer.
