Abstract

This Introduction frames the contributions to this special issue of the Journal of Moral Theology . It does so by introducing and framing the work of the Synod on Synodality (2021–24) and by offering an account of the textual development of the theme of women in the key documents associated with the process. It concludes by briefly outlining the focus of each article in this special issue.
