Abstract

Chiral 3-fluorinated cyclic ether N,O-acetals were synthesized by the asymmetric fluorocyclization of alcohol-tethered enamides under phase-transfer catalysis. Five-, six-, and seven-membered ring products were obtained from the corresponding cis-enamides enantioselectively in moderate to good yields.
