Abstract

Uzbekistan is commemorating the 40th anniversary of the United Nations Convention Against Torture by implementing significant reforms and initiatives aimed at combating torture and enhancing human rights protections. The country is undertaking legislative reforms, educational programs, public awareness campaigns, and strengthening international cooperation to align with global human rights standards. These efforts reflect Uzbekistan's commitment to uphold the principles enshrined in international conventions to promote a culture of respect for human dignity and justice.
