Abstract

The problem of time delay estimation in spatially correlated Gaussian noises is addressed. New normal equations based upon higher order statistics of the sensor measurements are established, from which a new adaptive algorithm for time delay estimation is proposed. Simulation examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of this algorithm.
