This study assessed technology gap in open and distance learning programmes in Enugu State. The study was guided by three research questions. The descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study was 3600 learners in National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Enugu State. Multi-staged sampling technique was used to sample 360 learners. Instrument for data collection was a checklist titled Technology Gap in Open and Distance Learning (TEGODIL). The instrument was face validated by three experts. Overall reliability coefficient values of 0.81 was obtained using Cronbach Alpha Statistical tool. Data were analysed using percentage mean and standard deviation. Findings revealed that gap in access to technology affects learners in Open and Distance Learning programme to a high extent. Skill gap also affects learners in Open and Distance Learning programme to a high extent. Furthermore, gap in the quality of use of technology affects learners in Open and Distance Learning programme in Enugu State. Based on these findings, some recommendations were made, among which was that the ODL managers should liaise with the producers of the technologies used in open and distance learning to subsidize the cost. This will increase accessibility, and invariably enhance the mastery and usage of Information and Communication Technologies in ODL delivery.
