Abstract

Ibn Arabshah was a famous historianduring the Age of Emir Timur (1336- 1405 AD), the great conqueror of Central Asia. He wrote the famous novel “Acвibu’l makdыr fо nevвib-i Timur” or “The Miraculous Fate of Naib Timur” about the conqueror. While he died in Cairo in 854 AH (1450AD) at the age of 62, but his works were able to immortalize his name forever in history. Ibn Arabshah’s writings contain detailed information about the Mongols under Chagadai Khan and the military policies and methods of Emir Timur. For the purposes of this paper, we have aimed to determine how such military policies and methods, as reflected in “The Miraculous Fate of Naib Timur”, corrected with the military policies and methods of the (Mongol) nomads.
