Abstract: This study explores the evolution of traditional narrative tools through an innovative approach that integrates hypertexts and digital media. The virtual realm offers unprecedented opportunities, combining written texts with visual and auditory dimensions, redefining the text-reader relationship, and allowing readers the freedom to choose their path. Despite criticisms of creating a "superficial illusion" and the distracting effects of media, these narrative forms open up creative horizons. They blend literariness with media aesthetics, transforming literary aesthetics into material aesthetics. This transition broadens the boundaries of language, encourages experimentation, and imparts new narrative dimensions to texts, thereby enriching their aesthetic and critical impact.
