Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the concept of the interactive or digital reader, who is considered the cornerstone of interactive literature and the focal point of the creative process. The reader actively engages in the reading process and participates in the production of the text, adapting it as they see fit. This forms the intersection between reception theory and interactive literature, leading to a collective writing of literary texts (novels, short stories, plays, poems, etc.) in which both the author and the reader participate. Through reading, the artistic and aesthetic aspects of interactive texts are realized, with artistic quality inherent in the linguistic fabric and content provided by the author, while aesthetic beauty emerges from the reader's engagement in the reading process. The creative work is completed through the mutual interaction between the author's text and the reader. Keywords: Interactive text; Reception theory; Reading; Meaning  reconstruction; Aesthetics.
