Abstract

A series of measurements were undertaken in the reverberation room of the Division of Building Research to determine whether the room meets the broad-band and discrete frequency qualification requirements of the American National Standard for sound power measurements. This report describes the steps involved in the qualification procedure, presents the results of the tests and points out beneficial modifications that may be useful for future qualification tests.
