Abstract

Abstract: Scientific production relies on various means of sharing findings, including scientific journals, research reports, books, and theses, to share and publish findings from academic research. Scientists and researchers across different fields work thoroughly to deliver their intellectual and scientific contributions beneficiaries, aiming to exchange expertise and spread new knowledge and innovations. Digital platforms play a crucial role in supporting digital scientific publishing, enhancing the visibility of research institutions. Through this study, we try to recognize the role of academic platforms approved by the higher education sector in the governance of scientific publishing, as well as highlighting the extent of social responsibility of the active parties in the publishing process in order to improve the published scientific production and enhance the visibility of the sector. This study was also applied to the three universities of Oran, namely the University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella, the University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed and the University of Science and Technology Mohamed Boudiaf. This study resulted in a clear difference in the work of the studied platforms in terms of achieving the principles of social responsibility and governance alike, as we will try to show the effectiveness of academic digital platforms in terms of their role in supporting e-management in the higher education sector and the extent of applying the principles of social responsibility and governance.
