The article describes the historical places of residence of Sergei Yesenin in old Tashkent in 1921. If you use the rich photo-illustrative materials stored in the funds of the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi, it is possible to reconstruct with sufficient completeness the visual range of Sergei Yesenin’s impressions from acquaintance with Tashkent, which he loved so much.These memorable Yesenin places for the most part were typical examples of the traditional Turkestan style of architecture. According to eyewitnesses, the poet performed public readings of his poems in front of the people of Tashkent, took part in poetry evenings, performed poetry readings before the start of film shows in popular Tashkent cinematographs. The search for photographic documents showing the appearance of the now lost memorable places where famous literary figures used to be in Tashkent continues. Many more interesting discoveries are possible along the way.
