The article discusses the significance of integrating reflection on the reader and reading into the educational process to develop critical thinking and self-determination among learners. It describes the role of reflective practices in increasing awareness, deepening understanding of texts, fostering critical thinking, and self-improvement. Examples of innovative projects by the National Library of Uzbekistan, such as «Library of Mercy» and «Book Slam,» are provided, which aim to stimulate creativity, engage learners in collaborative research, and enhance the educational process overall.
