First record of the lanternfly genus Limois Stål, 1863 in Vietnam with a new species, L. sonlaensis sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Fulgoridae)

Abstract

The lanternfly genus Limois Stål, 1863 is recorded from Vietnam for the first time based on a new species, L. sonlaensis sp. nov. from Son La Province in North Vietnam. The new species is described and illustrations of the holotype and male genitalia and a distribution map, are provided. An updated identification key to the nine species of Limois is given.
