Abstract

Invasive pulmonaryaspergillosis (IPA) is an opportunistic fungal infection that predictivelyaffects patients withimmunedeficiencyandparticularlythosewithchronicgranulomatoussepticdisease(CGD). Inthisstu- dy, we propose to highlight the clinical, paraclinical features and elucidate management and outcomes of thisdisease. SixcasesofAPIwithGSCwereincluded(5boysandonegirl). Allpatientshadpneumoniawith prolongedfever. Onlytwocaseshaddyspnea. TheIPAwasindicativeofCGDin4cases. Voriconazolewas thefirst-linetreatmentin2cases. Thecoursewasfatalinonecase.
