Making music is a time consuming activity that’s why it is popular among children and teenagers mainly as a post curriculum activity. A new curriculum obliges teachers to include making music as a part of a curriculum. The easiest form of making music is singing. Singing can be individual and in a group one e.g. in a band. Both forms of singing have a positive infulence on the development (not only musical) of children and teenagers. Other, more advanced form of making musisc is playing the instrument. The aim of playing the musical instrument on music classess should be to make students interested and feel the need to be surrouded by music. Playing the instrument brings a lot of benefits, it teaches discipline and being systematic which obviously help with dealing with other school subjects.
