Anacyclus Pyrethrum, a plant recognized for its medicinal properties in Moroccan traditional medicine, has attracted the attention of researchers for its antiproliferative potential. This study used Lepidium sativum seeds to evaluate growth inhibition and employed a zymography test to analyze the protease enzyme activity. The results showed that Anacyclus Pyrethrum inhibited cell growth with a rate of 66.67%, higher than the 60.89% observed with colchicine. The analysis of the enzymatic activity revealed that Anacyclus Pyrethrum had a slightly lower activity than colchicine after 24 hours, but exceeded it after 48 hours. These results not only demonstrate the therapeutic potential of Anacyclus Pyrethrum, but also open up perspectives for new therapeutic interventions, combining traditional knowledge and scientific innovations. .
