The everyday life of medical students has changed considerably in recent years – not least due to the challenges posed by the pandemic. Digital literature is becoming increasingly popular among students. This is a personal experience report by a student at the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen, which aims to show the changes in teaching and the learning environment for medical students in recent years using some university-specific examples.
