For three years, twenty organizations of research and advisory in agriculture have joined the project Cas Dar 'Conseillers demain’ on the following issue: what are internal and external resources to help agronomic advisers to accompany a drastic reduction in pesticide use? A methodologically and conceptually supported job-group described and tested in situ a wide range of tools, identified skills associated with these tools, proposed organizations favorable in adaptation of advice and skills. The project addressed the four dimensions of business proposed by Y Clot: personal, impersonal, interpersonal and transpersonal. It showed how a group of advisers facing a professional challenge could initiate a process of adaptation in the job. The results are recoverable by a local or regional technical team, which may have to review its practices and professional standards, collectively and individually.
