This article analyzes the strategic importance of library consortia in the modern scientific and educational environment. In particular, using the example of developed countries, it highlights how consortia have facilitated collective access to electronic resources, the development of information infrastructure, and the enhancement of the қuality of higher education and scientific research. Based on these experiences, the article demonstrates that establishing consortium-based collaboration within Uzbekistan’s library system can accelerate the country’s scientific and educational development and contribute to achieving economic efficiency.
