This work is based on the hypothesis that a participatory approach and a serious game putting the landscape at its heart can go beyond individual actions by encouraging more effective concerted action to limit the contamination of watercourses by plant protection products. An interdisciplinary approach (socio-anthropology, concertation sciences and physical sciences), based on co-construction workshops with local stakeholders, led to the creation of the CAUSERIE game. This "hybrid" game is based on a GIS model of the catchment area, GEOMELBA-SPIRIT, which explicitly simulates the influence of the spatial distribution of typical cropping systems and landscape infrastructures (vegetative strips, hedges, ditches, constructed wetlands), in order to question the role of collective action and the associated levers. It has been parameterised for viticulture and mixed farming.
