This article explores the impact of the U.S.-driven trade war, the April 2, 2025 tariffs, and the transformation of the global economic system. Through a critical and comparative lens, it analyzes the fragmentation of multilateralism, the strategic regionalization of trade, and the dilemmas facing Mexico and Canada within the USMCA.
