Abstract

A bstract The production cross sections of the Υ(1S), Υ(2S), and Υ(3S) mesons are measured in proton-proton collisions at √(s)=13.6 <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:msqrt> <mml:mi>s</mml:mi> </mml:msqrt> <mml:mo>=</mml:mo> <mml:mn>13.6</mml:mn> </mml:math> TeV, using a data sample collected in 2022 by the CMS experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 37.4 fb − 1 . The measurement is performed in the μ + μ − decay channels, differentially as a function of transverse momentum in the 20–200 GeV range, in the | y | &lt; 0 . 6 and 0 . 6 &lt; | y | &lt; 1 . 2 rapidity intervals.
