Quality of a food product is a main lever of the purchase and re-purchase act made by the consumer. Quality criteria chosen by the consumer are diverse and their ranking depends on individuals, social and society environment. Fruits and vegetable sometimes suffer of a poor quality image. The PEIFL proposes a descriptive model of fruits and vegetables quality and analyse how research could provide answers for a better management of quality and to reinforce supply chain competitiveness
