Abstract

MATLAB codes used in the article "Elastocapillary sequential fluid capture in hummingbird-inspired grooved sheets". The code "doublecapillaryrisecommented" solves the double capillary rise dynamics for a flexible device that is put in contact with a liquid bath at one end. The code "Fulldippingflexible" solves the dynamics of the capillary rise when a flexible device is totally immersed in and withdrawn from a bath. The code "Fulldippingrigid" solves the dynamics of the capillary rise when a rigid and closed device is totally immersed in and withdrawn from a bath.
