We describe a model M3comb for the boundary of the connectedness locus Msy3 of the parameter space of cubic symmetric polynomials pc(z)=z3-3c2z. We show that there exists a monotone continuous function π:∂ Mcsy→ M3comb which is a homeomorphism if Msy3 is locally connected.
