We show that if A is a unital C^*-algebra and B is a Cuntz-Krieger algebra for which A⊗\mathbbK ≅ B⊗\mathbbK, then A is a Cuntz-Krieger algebra. Consequently, corners of Cuntz-Krieger algebras are Cuntz-Krieger algebras.
